8th Grade Promotion - Donations Due 12/15
We are beginning the process of planning our students' 8th Grade Promotion and 8th Grade Promotion Dance. In order to make these events a success, we rely on families to donate $55 per student. Deadline to donate is December 15th in order for us to come up with our budget for the event. Each student will receive 4 guest tickets to graduation regardless of donation amount.

The 8th Grade Committee plans to send monthly updates with deadlines for various activities including: Yearbook AD Deadlines, Donation Deadlines, This Is Costa Part 2, Costa Registration Deadlines, Promotion RSVP Deadlines, Summer School Deadlines, etc. We also will house all of this info on our website on the 8th Grade Corner for easy reference.
Any questions regarding 8th Grade activities can be directed to our chairs: Faye Cavanaugh, Margie Beck or Chelsea Zielin.
Yearbook Recognition Ad - Due 12/1
Yearbook tribute ads are available for purchase to be included in the 2024 edition of the Tidal Wave. Take this opportunity to include a commemorative page in your child(ren)’s last yearbook from MBMS.
To create your ad, click here. There are simple, straightforward templates for you to use as well as an option to upload a design of your own using Photoshop, Canva, or any other design software you prefer. Simply choose the option that allows you to upload your own image and go from there!
A couple important things to consider:
We ask that you do not include any photos of your child in a swimsuit. Wet suits are fine so use all those surf photos to your heart's content!
Remember that many people will read your tribute so please consider what you write.
This is a great opportunity to include a baby photo of your 8th grader as there won't be a dedicated section for baby photos like there has been in the past.
The deadline to complete and submit your recognition ad is December 1. Please do not wait until the last minute so you can be sure to secure your ad for your 8th grader. Questions? Email Mr. Levy.
