Welcome to Manhattan Beach Middle School, the center of excellence for the Manhattan Beach Community. I am so excited to welcome all students, families, staff, and community members to our amazing school. Our educational philosophy is to help create opportunities where our students can grow, learn and develop as young adults while preparing them for real-world experiences.

At MBMS, all of our students possess the potential to achieve greatness. Our devoted staff is committed to upholding our school Mission and Vision, where MBMS is dedicated to equitable education for all, in which we honor the learning process as well as outcomes. We promote dynamic learning experiences that encourage students to be critical thinkers and develop a strong sense of lifelong learning.

We also offer many extracurricular opportunities for students, including after-school clubs, athletics, and activities to help students engage in their passions outside of academics. We believe it is important to build well-rounded students by promoting their collaboration and leadership skills. These are essential for personal growth and development.
